im trying smth with hammer build but i would like some suggestions ty

I have one i just came up with ( though i dont know someone else may have thought of it too)

The skills i use are
sever artery
gash
hamstring
final thrust
flurry or distracting blow
victory is mine {e}
apply poison
rez sig

sword 11+3+1
tac 11+1
strength 9+1 (i think)

basically what u do is spam conditions for Victory is mine, and the -7 degen can wreak some serious havok. With the degen doing its magic u use final thrust to finish the enemy off.

U may be wondering why i have a ranger skill and no points in ranger attributes, this is because apply poison last for 24 sec automatically,and if u keep attacking u wont need the duration of poison.

I know u said u wanted a hammer build and this is sword but i hope it still helps.

note -be carefull about condition removal obviously

o yeah i use full 15k glads armor with a, +45 -2 stance shield, and zealous flamberge of defense

Tigers fury axe- most hoh users, use this. 16 Axe- SUperior axe mastery with axe helm, 11 str-minor str, and rest on beast mastery-all glad armor except helm

Tigers fury
Axe rake
Eviscerate
excutioner strike
Rez
sprint
distrupting chop
and dismember or another NON energy axe attack.

While I don't have any hammer experience, and I don't know how well this would work, I think a combo of knockdowns and traps would be a lot of fun.

Hey you posted this before and I gave you a perfect w/r tf+ hammer, what you didnt like it ? Didnt work out for you must have been using it wrong. Works great for me

I have one I made just a little while ago...

**I cannot fully be sure that the point distribution is exacly correct, as I forgot some of the finer details. I'll be back with an updated (and correct) version later today**

W/R - Axe Conditionist

11 Tactics -> 10 + Minor
12 (or 13) Axe -> 9 + Superior
10 (or 11)Wilderness Survival -> 10

[And for a little extra Armor Percing] 2 Strenght -> 1 + Minor

Extra Runes
Superior Vigor
Superior Absorbtion

These are the skills:

Executioner's Strike
Dismember
Axe Rake
Axe Twist
Cyclone Axe
Apply Poison
Troll Ungruent
"Victory is Mine!" [E]

This build is still in the "planning stages" - I want to somehow include a little more damage (somehow...) and some recarge w/ Tiger's Fury. Also, I would love to squeeze in a Rez Siggy.

This build has done EXTREMELY well in PvP - it is able to take on ~2 people solo, in some cases, successfuly. HoH results w/ this build are about
8.5/10 stars. Improvements could be made :-/

16 axe ----- sup + helm
10 strentgh ---- minor
9 beast mastery

Full Glads with knights boots

Penetrating Blow
executioners Strike
Res Sig
Disrupting Chop/ distracting blow
Evicerate [E]................... Found in Hells Precipice,
Axe rake
Sprint
Tigers Fury

15% <50 zealous axe of fortitude
shield (req str) choose the one with stances.

pretty simple run to the enemy and use TF. charge up adrenaline and get rdy to spike. executioners and penetrating are for a lot of massive dmg. then evicerate and axe rake. use axe rake after they have the deep wound else dont use it. use distrupting chop to interrupt the skill they using. sprint if the person is running wich then u should charge adrenaline to cripple them. res sig of course ur friends. This build does not have any healing so becareful, but it does massicve dmg.



For hammer i made this. it is a pretty cool build i almost kiled one of my guildies if it wasnt for a certain monk and him running away.

Use irresistable when ppl start to evade or block. if they run away use sprint to catch up to them. the combo should kill them if not then repeat it.

no trust me irresistable is way better. mostly cause it is hard to cahrge up after a wildblow and distortion suxs. it recharges real fast and is for some time. so u wld blow that and he will do it again. i prefer ireesistable cause it still hits them and does alot of dmg.

ok tell me this how long do stances last for, now tell me how long can you keep Iressitable blow up until you run out of energy, now tell me how long will it take to charge up your adrenaline skills when you are being blocked/evaded every second hit, now tell me how long will a stance last after wild blow and how long will it take to charge those adrenaline skills with tigers fury after u shattered their stance nuff said

Those in the know use wild blow, zealous upgrade and +5 defence upgrade.

ok well.
lets see
i as a warrior have 25-27 energy(at school cant check) i have 1 pip and wielding a hammer
caster have around 40-80 ernegy they have 4 pips(usually) and cant have zealous mods.
i will use mesmer for my example.
i run up to mesmer. mesmer uses distorting(-5 caster). i do wild blow(-5 me). they do distroting again(-5 caster). i do wild blow(-5 me). they do distortion again(-5 caster). i do wild blow(-5 me). they do distortion again(-5 caster). i do wild blow(-5 me). they do distortion again(-5 caster).i do wild blow(-5 me)
ok lets stop fora sec i just wasted 25 energy and gained 5 ernegy of it. the opponent wasted 25 energy as well they gained some energy from pips as well. they do distortion again(-5 caster). i do wild blow(-5 me) that makes me have lost 30 energy and with 3 energy atm. mesmer has full ernegy and laughs at me cause he knows i cant do more. now this is if they didnt run. if they did run i would waster 5 enregy of sprint.
now lets try with iresistable.
they cast distortion(-5 energy caster). i do irresistable (-5 energ me and +1 strike of adrenaline.). they cast distortion(-5 energy caster). i do irresistable (-5 energ me and +1 strike of adrenaline.). they cast distortion(-5 energy caster). i do irresistable (-5 energ me and +1 strike of adrenaline.). they cast distortion(-5 energy caster). i do irresistable (-5 energ me and +1 strike of adrenaline.). they cast distortion(-5 energy caster). i do irresistable (-5 energ me and +1 strike of adrenaline.). they cast distortion(-5 energy caster). i do irresistable (-5 energ me and +1 strike of adrenaline.).now that makes me lose a lot of energy but all i need now is 5 more enregy or i lucky hit. lets say im not lucky and i wait for them to stop casting it or gain energy. they cast distortion(-5 energy caster). i do irresistable (-5 energ me and +1 strike of adrenaline.). now that makes 7 strikes of adrenaline. so i do now after an irresistable a devistating then 1 hit since i got no energy then mighty and heavy.
well now lets say they dont use stance again. u do wild blow u lose 5 ernegy then u do tigers to charge up but hey now they decide to do a stance and u know u wild blow and all the adrenaline u charged up is lost. remmebr also u usinga hammer and hammers are slow. plus the knockdown from irresistable gives a nice help.

Wrong if a mes is using distortion I target someone else plus dont forget this is a team effort not a 1v1.
If its you and the mes left both used rez and you are playing a proper warrior in pvp i.e no heals then good luck to you you'll need it.

If im playing a r/w using hammer then Ill bring Irresisable blow.
